Dear Sita ji, Namaste.

Thank you for your wonderful Nepali folk music. It was nice to meet you in Seattle, i did hear your song here in nepal, but while i was touring US it surely was nice to meet you there. I do listen to your songs.

With best ragards Rita Nepal Sita, I do really love your CD – I listen to it often. A couple of suggestions for you – I really love the music and your voice is beautiful – so don’t change those things. I don’t know your instruments well enough to know if you’re using the real thing or if they’ve been synthesized. Sometimes it sounds a little synthesized. Which is OK – but people (especially westerners) who are really into music –and I know a few- would probably prefer hearing the music created on original instruments. The quality of the recording could be better – my CD often skips or won’t play at all on some CD players. Also, if you want to appeal to westerners you might want to see if someone will design a more western looking cover for you – so many people here are into things that look professionally made. I happen to love the way it looks now because I know you and love seeing your photo, as well as Kumar’s and Ama’s. Westerners who aren’t familiar with you or your music might be more inclined to buy it if it looked more like the kind of CD they’re used to buying – which are usually not so personal. I’m sorry I can’t give you more feedback on the music – l love it just the way it is – but I’m not a native speaker nor do I have any experience with Nepali music. I had no idea you were so talented – I’m so glad you decided to make this CD.

Hearing Sita's first CD brought me back to fire-lit evenings in my Peace Corps village: faces glowing, voices harmonizing, madal beat echoing through the night, dancing, laughter, love.

Dear sita bahini, we are very proud of you even being in USA for so long, you can still sing very typicall mountain folk song.your song bhaka and the words can bring me right to the village where i was born in(Gurgha). Our suggestion is: this album is little more so sentimental, may be next album you can make more so fun and jolly one.

Dear Sita didi, I am very proud of you and thank you for bringing such a beautiful typical Nepali folk songs. You can really sing. As a dancer I say this; if the song make me feel like dancing then I know that is a good song. I have been listening all your songs and I like every one of them, more I listen to it the more I find that one has differently better tests than the other; it is amazing how well you have put together. As I was listening your #7 Aama mero ; that day, all day long I felt like crying because the words are so beautifully put together. Tara Bahini.  Tara Gurung 7/28/2007 10:59:40 P.M
